ABOUT NOHA HASSAN DESIGNS : A LUXURY INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO
DESIGN STUDIO PHILOSOPHY
We’re a boutique interior design firm based in NYC, working with clients locally and globally. Our approach is all about quality, attention to detail, and creating spaces that balance functionality with timeless luxury. We focus on designing entire spaces that feel harmonious and tailored to your needs.
At our core, we believe in:
Mixing the new and the familiar: We love blending innovative and traditional elements to create spaces that are unique yet approachable, often using soft patterns and inviting textures.
Turning ordinary into extraordinary: Our designs transform spaces where quality and attention to detail aren’t just seen—they’re felt.
Bringing the best of both worlds: We pull cool, inspirational elements from commercial settings into residential spaces—without going overboard. And we bring the coziness of home into commercial spaces for added warmth and comfort.
ABOUT NOHA
At the heart of Noha Hassan’s work lies an artful balance of culture, elegance, and livability. Her designs speak in subtle tones of luxury—creating spaces that are not only beautiful but also feel like a sanctuary, inviting calm into everyday life. Born in Egypt and shaped by her experiences in Jeddah, Luxembourg, Brussels, Barcelona, and London, Noha carries the soul of a traveler, weaving global influences into every corner of her work. From sleek modernity to soft, cozy layers, her designs are reflections of the people who live in them—aspirational yet deeply personal.
Noha’s path into design wasn’t a straight line. After starting her career in finance with Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan, she took a bold step into the world of aesthetics at Estée Lauder, where her passion for art, design, and storytelling truly blossomed. In 2010, she followed her heart, launching her own firm with a singular mission: to create spaces that inspire, soothe, and delight.
Clients describe her as a curator of elegance, someone who transforms homes into modern sanctuaries. Noha has an innate talent for bringing together unique pieces, textures, and art, crafting designs that feel both intentional and effortless. She believes great design isn’t just about what you see—it’s about what you feel. A home should wrap you in comfort and tranquility.
WHAT CLIENTS CAN EXPECT
Noha’s clients are high-achieving professionals with demanding schedules who want an interior designer they can trust to handle every detail. Her impeccable project management skills, combined with her artistic vision, make her the perfect partner for clients who value quality and professionalism. BEHIND THE DESIGN: FUN FACTS
I love to laugh and never take myself too seriously. I prefer to see the glass as half full and living by the French motto "Joie de Vivre"—life should be fun, and gratitude is a big deal to me.
I still love a good party, even after having kids. Family and fun can totally coexist. Fun fact: when our firstborn was just 4 days old, my husband and I went out for dinner—and then decided to hit a club afterward! I guess I was still riding that post-baby energy high… before the sleepless nights kicked in!
My favorite (okay, let’s be real—only) form of exercise I actually enjoy is Pilates Reformer. It took me way too long to figure that out.
Travel isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a full-blown obsession I inherited from my dad. I’m always exploring new places. My favorite countries are South Africa (where we eloped and got married!), Brazil, and Argentina. Cities with energy I just love: London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
Favorite food: Indian, Middle Eastern, and a lot of Asian flavors. One of the best meals I’ve ever had? Street food at Singapore’s famous Hawker stands.
I’m a mix of organized and methodical, with a dash of spontaneous and playful.
I’m always mixing languages when I talk—usually some combo of English, French, and Arabic.
Even I surprise myself sometimes—I'm way more chill about the cats messing up the furniture than my husband is. No one believes it, but it’s true!
