  • The interior design process typically takes around 6 months when construction is minimal. This timeline accommodates lead times for European furnishings or custom-made items. As long as decisions are made promptly, this timeframe is both feasible and reasonable.

    For full gut renovations, the process typically extends to 12-18+ months, depending on the scope of work. Ground-up projects can take anywhere from one year to several years, influenced by project size, location, regulations, and the approval process.

  • We don’t typically take on partial-scope projects. Our focus is on creating fully cohesive and holistic spaces, which is best achieved when we design the entire residence or space. This allows us to ensure that every element works together seamlessly

  • We always provide advice with your best interests in mind. If you're considering a renovation, we’ll discuss the full scope, timeline, and any cost implications upfront. While renovations can be costly, they are also a valuable investment in your property. Our philosophy is to do them right, not rushed, as the end result can greatly enhance your everyday functionality and enjoyment. We encourage patience, as a well-executed renovation is truly life-changing.

  • Our design fee is not determined by your project budget but by the scope of work and the time required to implement your vision from start to finish. The budget for each project is influenced by several key factors, including the scope of work, design style, furnishing and finish selections, and your personal preferences. We specialize in luxury interiors, focusing on refined interior architecture, enhanced lighting and audio experiences, and prioritizing quality and comfort for long-lasting results.If you're seeking an affordable design solution, we may not be the right fit.

    Once we begin the design process, we will assess the needs of your space and review these elements in detail to create a comprehensive budget and gather bids from reputable service providers. If you have specific budget parameters, it’s important to share them transparently at the start of the project so we can tailor our selections accordingly.

  • We work on a flat fee structure based on the agreed scope of work, with a clearly defined timeline outlined in the design agreement. Unlike traditional firms that charge hourly, by commission, or use a combination of methods, our approach fosters a transparent and objective collaboration from the outset. This flat fee model offers you clarity and peace of mind while allowing us to focus fully on the creative process without the distraction of tracking hours. It enables us to work more freely, ensuring the best outcome for your project.

  • The number of projects we take on at a time depends on several factors, including the scope of work (whether it's design-only or a partial or full construction project), the size of the space, and the current phase of our ongoing projects. Rest assured, we carefully select each project to ensure we can give it the full attention it deserves. We prioritize quality over quantity, ensuring that every client receives a personalized, high-level service experience.

  • We believe in transparency, which is why we share our trade discounts with our clients. For custom or trade-only brands, we apply a fair management fee on the discounted price. This allows you to benefit from significant savings while ensuring you never pay more than retail—unlike traditional markups, where fees can drive the cost above retail.

  • IIn addition to the design fee, project-specific expenses like travel (Ubers, couriers) are billed monthly. For projects outside NYC, airfare and hotel may be required, while those within a 2-3 hour drive typically don't need overnight stays. A set number of site visits is included, with extra visits billed at our out-of-town daily rate.

    We also highly recommend 3D renderings to help you better visualize the design. These are quoted at the start of each project as an additional expense but are well worth the investment for the clarity and peace of mind they provide.
